Welcome to VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center - Bloomington, your trusted veterinary practice in Bloomington, IN. We provide same-day urgent care and advanced diagnostic imaging to help our veterinary team quickly identify the cause of your pet's symptoms and determine the appropriate treatment.
If your pet requires an X-ray, our digital radiography technology provides high-quality images that allow our veterinary team to evaluate a variety of internal structures and systems. Digital X-rays can be used to examine the cardiopulmonary, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and urinary systems, helping identify conditions such as fractures, foreign objects, abnormalities, and other internal concerns. All X-rays are promptly interpreted by a board-certified radiologist, with a full report provided within approximately 1 hour of your pet's procedure.
What Is a Digital X-ray?
Digital radiology/radiography, is an advanced diagnostic tool that is mainly used to see your pet’s organs. This includes, but is not limited to, the cardiopulmonary, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and urinary systems. All X-rays will be read by a board Certified Radiologist and a full report provided within 1 hour of your pet having their X-ray taken.
Veterinary Ultrasound in Bloomington, IN
Ultrasound is another valuable diagnostic imaging tool that allows our veterinary team to examine your pet's internal organs and soft tissues in greater detail.
While X-rays are particularly useful for evaluating bones, the chest, and certain abdominal structures, ultrasound uses sound waves to create real-time images of soft tissues and internal organs. This can provide additional information when an X-ray alone does not provide a complete picture.
